Corambo is a fantastic gelding we imported as a weanling some five years ago from Queensland, Australia.  He was originally destined to be a sire here until a change of direction saw us bringing in stallions from Europe.

He was broken in carefully and has had two seasons of competing with considerable success.  As a four year old he was the Teilcey Park Preliminary Champion and went on to become North Island Reserve Champion and at the National Championships in Christchurch hew was 3rd overall in the Young Dressage Horse Finals.

Last season he was competed in showjumping up to 1.10 including the Horse of the Year show.  He also did a few dressage shows and finished 3rd overall in the Novice section at the HOY Show.  He went hunting in the winter and also did a one day event and some X/C schooling.

This season I have competed him at Elementary level with a win and a percentage of over 70%.  At home he is schooling 1/2 passes and flying changes.  He is a horse with a lot of talent for both dressage and jumping.

I am selling Corambo only because my time constraints are such the he is very under-utilsed here.  He is one of the neatest horses I have ever had the pleasure of riding and I am very sad at the prospect of him leaving the property here. 

Corambo is ideally suited to a young rider or adult wishing to ride a fun and talented horse across all of the disciplines.
