“Lofty” is a lovely upstanding horse who has settled in well here.  He is good looking and well conformed, with good paces and trainability that has taken him to Medium Level thus far in his dressage career.

He is easy and laid back to ride, well established in all the lateral movements including half-passes at trot and canter.  He has a big extended trot and is an uncomplicated horse to ride.  He is also learning flying changes and has a very good attitude towards these.

Lofty loves to jump and is a full brother to Andrew Nicholson’s top eventer “Mr Maori”.  He is quiet and safe over fences.  He is also great to hack out on the road or down the beach.

He is a very nice looking horse who moves straight and as such should be suited also to a career in showing.  Really, the decision is yours – to specialise in dressage or buy him as an all-rounder.

Lofty would suit any rider wishing to have a taller horse to either jump or be competitive on in dressage up to Open Medium level at least.
