Minx is a lovely example of a jumping bred broodmare. Her sire Valiant has jumped to a high level and was imported into NZ from the USA. Her dam-sire Aberlou is very well known as a producer of eventing and showjumping horses.

Minx has been assessed and passed into the NZ Warmblood mare studbook. For this she was assessed conformationally and her movement at walk and trot was taken into account. She is a good moving mare with correct, straight paces.

She is a young mare at 6 years of age and got into foal 1st cycle with fresh AI semen. I predict she will be an easy breeder for many years to come.

She is tested in foal to the imported Holsteiner Landioso, who himself carries the best jumping blood the world can offer - that magic Landgraf / Cor de la Bryere cross. More information on Landioso can be found in the stallion section of this website.

The crossing of Selle Francais and Holsteiner blood has been well proven in one of the World's top studs - VDL in Holland. We hope too to create that magical cross that will produce fantastic moving horses that can jump internationally. This broodmare carries a potential champion!
